I think the real issue is VELOCITY. That's what makes the clean cut. So the point is, this press accelerates the tool to a very high velocity so that when the tool contacts the work, it just zings right through it without leaving burrs or deformations.

Now my question:

What is the velocity at impact of an air press or a hydraulic press compared to this electromagnetic press?
